Fake CIMB Clicks Website (Phishing Website)

Today early morning, I just received an email claiming they are from CIMB Bank. With the subject "Account Closed", for those who don't know will panic with this kind of email. Actually, this is just another FAKE, FRAUD, AND PHISHING website with the purpose to steal your account bank information and then steal your money! Below is the email with link that lead you to the fake website!


Dear Valued CIMB Customer,

We are currently experiencing a serious problem with our logon server. Online Access to your account has been restricted. Please follow the below secured location to solve the problem and restore immediate access to your account.

Note: Failure to restore access to your account within the next 2hrs may result in a temporary account deactivation.

For your info, Bank will NEVER EVER send email to their customers regarding this matter. At the very least, they will send you a letter. If you received this kind of email, please forward it as it is to callcentre@cimb.com. Below is the screenshot of the phishing website.

If you have entered personal information after clicking on a link or suspect fraudulent behavior, please call CIMB Bank immediately at 1-300-880-900.
